Tayvallich
The picturesque, fishing village of Tayvallich is situated on the shores of Loch Sween. It is a popular yachting haven with its spectacular scenery and vibrant community with a shop, inn, cafe and many local artists. There is a beach just across on the Atlantic side of the isthmus at Carsaig Bay and many forestry walks in and around the peninsula.
Taynish Nature Reserve is also worth a visit to observe the local wildlife. Lochgilphead, some 11 miles away, has many facilities including a leisure centre and a golf course.
