I have never been disappointed with any of the properties booked through Unique Cottages. They may not always be the most luxurious but their positions are “unique” and they are generally most comfortable. Having used this company for 15 years it would be nice if there was more recognition/reward for loyal customers.
Really well presented home, with amazing views over the ocean. The house itself is upside down, with bedrooms above and below the main living area, but this affords a large living space which looks out over the harbour and into the sea. The home is well furnished, with an excellent kitchen and bathrooms (the bath is great).
The owners are very friendly and easily contactable, and the village is really nice - once you get used to the steps! Local pub is also very friendly, and we would recommend the pub quiz every Thursday! The locals are also very friendly and will happily chat with you.
Was disappointed to learn (after I had booked and paid in full for the cottage) that there was a very steep drive up to the property. This information should have been available in the general property description, because anyone with mobility issues would find it very difficult to walk up, or down the driveway if not impossible!
The booking process and communication from Unique cottages was fantastic. Easy to use website and correspondence re key collection and directions were great.
The whole booking experience was faultless and dry easy to operate. Everything is explained fully and all required information provided in the correspondence.
