Bridge of Allan
The historic spa town of Bridge of Allan is highly recommended as a place to visit. There is plenty to do and it is less than three miles from Stirling City Centre. The main street has many interesting and excellent small shops and eating places.
There are train connections to both Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as north to Perth so you can visit Scotland's two major cities without any parking worries. The prestigious Gleneagles, too, is only a short drive or train journey away.
