Cupar
Cupar is a busy market town situated in the heart of the fertile Howe of Fife. The nearby Hill of Tarvit, an Edwardian mansion with fine furniture and paintings and the 16th century Scotstarvit Tower are worth visiting.
The Scottish Deer Centre, a breeding centre for various species of deer and reindeer and the Fife Animal Park are not far away and popular with children, as is the maize maze at Cairnie Fruit Farm north of Cupar. Also, the Fife Folk Museum occupying a 17th century weigh-house in Ceres, has an interesting collection of old agricultural equipment and a heritage trail.
